This Privacy Policy describes how 5D Publishing collects, uses, and protects information about you when you visit our website or engage our services. 5D Publishing is a web design and development studio specialising in custom websites for healers, lightworkers, and wellness practitioners. Our founder is based in Australia. For privacy enquiries, contact hello@5thdimensionpublishing.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact form (/contact): your name, email address, and the message you write to us.
- Booking form(/start): your name, email, and the briefing answers you provide (your modality, current website situation, what you're looking for).
- Calls and email correspondence: anything you share with us in conversation, plus standard email metadata.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our third-party providers may collect:
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, screen size.
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring URL, clicks.

3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide the services you've requested.
- Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, project updates).
- Send marketing emails — only if you've explicitly opted in via the /start funnel. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email.
- Improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
- Run targeted advertising on platforms like Meta and Google. You can opt out — see Section 9.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
If you're in the European Economic Area or UK, we process your data on these legal bases:
- Contract: when processing is necessary to provide services you've engaged us for.
- Legitimate interests: for analytics, security, and improving our services.
- Consent: for marketing emails and non-essential cookies.
- Legal obligation: for tax, accounting, and other compliance requirements.
5. Who we share your information with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the third-party service providers we use to run our business:

6. International data transfers
Several of our service providers are based outside Australia (primarily in the United States and European Union). When your data is transferred internationally, we rely on the service providers' standard contractual clauses, certifications, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

- Contact form submissions and discovery call notes: kept for as long as you're a prospective or active client, plus 7 years after our last engagement for tax and legal compliance.
- Marketing email subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: aggregated and retained per the policies of our analytics providers (typically up to 26 months for Google Analytics 4).

8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure email transmission, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take this seriously.
9. Your rights

10. Children's privacy
Our services aren't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe we've collected data from a child, email us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date. For material changes, we'll notify active clients and email subscribers directly.
